  Marcie grew up in Battle Mountain, Nevada and graduated from Battle Mountain High School. She went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural Emphasis from the University of Wyoming. Then, in 2004 Marcie moved back to Nevada and took a Civil Engineering position in Carson City. Marcie joined BHA in 2013 and has over 15 years of project experience including architectural and structural design for commercial, single and multi-family residential properties, as well as civil design including: site, utility, grading, accessibility, erosion control, landscape plans, subdivisions, parcel maps, utility line extensions, septic systems, floodplain impact analyses, drainage studies, and construction cost estimating. Her project experience includes medical and educational facilities as well as, commercial offices, auto dealerships, restaurants, and retail stores. Marcie is a licensed Civil Engineer and currently serves as project manager. Her responsibilities include code analysis, architectural design and project management.
